Support That Helps People Move Forward
The Better Living Project CIC provides practical, community-led support designed to help people understand their options, build confidence and access the right services.
From housing and financial wellbeing to digital inclusion, volunteer training and community outreach, we work alongside individuals, families and local organisations to make support easier to understand and easier to access.
We listen. We inform. We connect. We empower.

How We Help
Different people come to us with different challenges, but our approach remains the same.
We listen to what is happening, help people understand the options available to them and, where specialist or regulated assistance is required, connect them with appropriate organisations and professionals.
Our aim is not to make people dependent on us. It is to give people knowledge, confidence and a clear next step.
Services
Safe Space & Community Support
We are developing welcoming community spaces where people can receive practical guidance, learn new skills, meet others and feel that somebody is genuinely listening.
Our Safe Space vision brings together advice, digital access, training, wellbeing activities, community connection and simple human kindness under one roof.
Sometimes people need more than information. They need somewhere they feel welcome.
Volunteer Training & Community Leadership
Strong communities need informed and confident local people.
Our training programmes equip volunteers and community representatives with practical skills in communication, housing awareness, outreach, digital inclusion, safeguarding and community engagement.
The goal is simple: train people who can then help others.
Partnerships & Community Projects
We believe lasting change happens through collaboration.
TBLP works to build relationships with churches, community groups, charities, councils, housing organisations, businesses and other partners who share our commitment to stronger communities.
Together we can reach more people, share resources and create programmes that would be difficult to deliver alone.
Housing & Tenant Support
Living with damp, mould, leaks, unsafe electrics or unresolved repairs can affect an entire household.
We help social-housing residents understand their rights, record problems properly, communicate effectively with landlords and identify appropriate routes for escalation.
Where specialist legal assistance may be appropriate, we can signpost or refer people to suitably regulated professionals.
Financial Wellbeing & Benefits Support
Financial pressure can become overwhelming when people do not know what assistance may be available.
We help individuals understand potential benefits, grants, cost-of-living schemes and community support, while signposting to specialist or regulated services where financial or debt advice is required.
Sometimes the biggest difference is simply knowing where to begin.
Digital Inclusion
More essential services are moving online, but not everybody has been given the confidence or skills to use them.
Our digital inclusion work helps people use laptops, smartphones, email, online forms, video calls and everyday digital services safely and confidently.
We particularly want to support older people, vulnerable residents and anyone who feels left behind by technology.
Consumer & Financial Complaints Support
We help people understand complaint processes, organise relevant evidence and identify appropriate routes for raising concerns about financial products or services.
Where a matter requires regulated financial, debt or legal advice, we signpost to the appropriate regulated service.
Working Where It Matters Most
Our work begins in communities.
Whether we're supporting somebody one-to-one, training volunteers, delivering digital inclusion, attending community events or working alongside another organisation, we believe meaningful change happens when support reaches people where they are.
We want TBLP to be recognised not simply for talking about community problems, but for helping communities develop practical solutions.
Not Sure Which Service You Need?
You don't need to know exactly what type of support you require before contacting us.
Tell us what is happening. We'll listen, explain what options may be available and help you identify the most appropriate next step.
